My daughters are in kindergarten this year. Today we got our first call from their teacher. Apparently, Aubrey pinched someone. Callie said that Aubrey realized when her teacher called and ran and hid under the bed. I guess she had to 'pull a card' at school which is a lot like being sentenced to 15 to 20.
I asked her what she did wrong and she wouldn't answer. Then I said that instead of pinching perhaps we need to enroll her in karate so that she can learn to fight properly. I don't think Callie was amused.

I remember having my name written on the board. I was so devastated when that happened that I sat there in utter embarrassment for the rest of the day, knowing my classmates were staring at my name, and thinking I was an evil, evil boy. And I was an evil, evil boy. Because my name was on the board.
I send my therapist bills to my third grade teacher.
I’ve got a wooden sword, if Aubrey needs to borrow it. She can whip it out and tell the teacher to ‘put that card back right now’ If the teacher doesn’t comply, she can switch hands and say, “I am not left handed’.
