I am Justin Ball. I wrote code, a lot of code.

I am currently a researcher/programmer/analyst/CTO/slave/lackey/PhD Student with The Center for Open and Sustainable Learning where we do our best to build cool stuff in hopes that someone, somewhere might learn something.

I spend my free time working on The Plan Collection, a house plan website I started with a couple of partners back in 1999.

Lately, I have been into writing Facebook applications like this one and this one.

I have a couple of kids, I forget how many. They are funny.

I also like to ride my bike.

I came across your site looking for an old friend from Baltimore. I doubt that you are “my” Justin Ball, but I have to say that I like your site and while nobody really listens to what anyone has to say… I like reading your stuff.

I have never been to Baltimore so I am probably not the person you are looking for. However, thanks for reading. Hopefully, I’ll post something interesting in the not so distant future.

A long twisty digital road to get here. Happy I did. Are you still working on 51weeks? How can I learn more about it?

Did you get a facebook app going? (Sorry to just comment, I suspect the answers are here somewhere, I just am not finding them : )

We are still working on 51weeks. I have not finished the Facebook app but would like to. Are you interested in 51weeks? The code is open source if you want to play with it.
