2 glitches:
1. wont accept [ ] format but my workaround is:
day_names:
aMonday: “Monday”
bTuesday: “Tuesday”
cWednesday: “Wednesday”
dThursday: “Thursday”
eFriday: “Friday”
fSaturday: “Saturday”
gSunday: “Sunday”

which gets them in correct order and then manually reformat them to [ ]

2. precision needs to be in quotes e.g. “2″

Also Google objection to my recent submission for translation:-
Response is: “Suspect terms abuse”.
So Google think I am doing something illegal! Ouch.
My en.yml file is purely Rails models but is now quite large.
So maybe the size is too big.
My workaround is to only do the changes required and append them to my earlier translation yml files.

How big is your average website? 1000 words maybe? You can hire a professional translator to do that for you for about EUR 150 (depending on the language, of course). It's not going to run anyone into bankruptcy to get your translation done properly if you do it right. Of course, you can go to the most expensive translation company in the world and have it done for EUR 1,000 as well, but that's just because you don't know how to buy translations. In that case, you could use something like Translizer, which is like Hotels.com, but for translations.
