I only had a minute to look at it on the way back from the doctor but I didn't see any major damage. The tape is torn up and I'm not sure about the condition of the handle bars. I get to spend the next month in a brace not moving my leg so that my wound can heal. Don't worry though I still love cycling. The bike seems to be in decent condition. (Yes, my teeth are clean and it is still debatable whether or not the teeth cleaning was more painful than the bike wreck.) I get to go back to the dr on Monday and they'll tell me what to do next. Until then I have to sit here with a giant brace on my leg and try not to move a lot so that the skin can begin to heal. I am pretty thankful for doctors and modern medicine. I imagine that not to long ago they would have just cut my leg off. That wouldn't be much fun. Thanks for the comments and concern.
