I'm substituting the weenies for some good sausage, and I do like to throw in my own spices, so it's better than the beans and weenies you might get at just any old place. I hear you on the stale pastries and coffee. I don't think I've ever been to a conference that has had fresh pastries. I always used to wonder what supermarkets did with their leftover pastries but maybe the answer is they send them to the local conference center.
